After noticing a gap in the market for supplying viable luxury finishes, the idea behind Watson & Gabb was born; to bring artisanal finishes to the design world in a unique format.
Every finish is designed by us and hand applied on a Made-to-Order basis, ensuring quality through the entire manufacturing process, from conception through to completion.
Our fascination with pushing design boundaries is what has given us our reputation of being innovators and aficionados within the trade. Every finish tells a story that celebrates differentiation, culminating in textured liquid metals and pigmented poured panels that are as refined as they are masterfully designed.
DESIGN AESTHETIC.
Water, fire, earth, metal and wood; paying homage to the five elements and capturing nature’s most sacred moments is core to our design ethos. Each surface captures specific moments in time and tells the story of the progression of our world. Exploring the relationships between architecture, symbology and geometry found in nature; we offer a contemporary interpretation of pattern, structure and symmetry.
We redefine sculptural surfaces and textures inspired by natural forms that have both brutality and grace.
Our design and craft is driven by a deep passion to articulate beautiful finishes, built on innovation. Each hand-crafted finish has a story; a unique narrative that takes it from the initial flutterings of an idea, to a fully fledged product. This passion for our craft culminates in an unpretentious luxury which is rich in detail and elegantly created.
Truly encompassing the phrase ‘Made in England‘, we operate from our workshop based in the heart of Wiltshire, where an expert understanding of form, colour and materiality takes shape.

The surfaces create sophisticated, materially sensuous environments that exude depth and artistic cool, from furniture facades, wall panelling and external doors to entirely bespoke dressing rooms, store fronts and beyond.
